One of my favorite places in the world is Lake Tahoe. It is one of the most pristine places I have ever been to. I love going in the summer and swimming in the lake or hiking on all of the trails, but Tahoe also has some world class skiing. I spent the last few days with ben and his mom at their gorgeous home in Lake Tahoe. I arrived on Christmas Eve to almost a foot of new snow and woke up on Christmas to almost two more feet of fresh powder. We celebrated the holiday with presents, a walk in the snow, and a fabulous dinner. We went the next day on the slopes at Northstar which was absolutely amazing and the snow was perfect, even though it was about 10 degrees out when we got on the lift. My final day in Tahoe included some amazing snow shoeing on the lake and in the mountains. The entire trip was fantastic and I can't wait to go back, snow or sun!
